The Do Dham Yatra, also known as Kedarbadri Yatra, is a sacred pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badrinath, two of the Char Dham Yatra destinations. These four holy places hold significant importance in Hindu religion. Kedarnath is situated in Rudraprayag district, and Badrinath is located in Chamoli district, both in Uttarakhand, India.
To embark on the Do Dham Yatra, you can start from either Rishikesh or Haridwar in Uttarakhand. If you begin from Haridwar, the first stop is Guptkashi, which takes around 7-8 hours to reach. Alternatively, you can stay at Sonprayag to rest and cover a shorter distance on the next day.
The second day involves trekking from Guptkashi or Sonprayag to Gaurikund, a beautiful spot midway to Kedarnath. Along the trek, you’ll encounter enchanting waterfalls, scenic views, and can also take a dip in the sacred hot springs of Gaurikund.
On the third day, the journey continues from Guptkashi to Joshimath, which is approximately 145 km and takes 6-7 hours to reach. From Joshimath, Badrinath temple is about 45 km away. You can stay in Joshimath and plan your visit to Badrinath temple on the fourth day.
Badrinath temple, situated at an altitude of 3300 meters, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple’s breathtaking surroundings, with the mythical Alaknanda river flowing nearby and the Tapt Kund’s sacred hot springs, create a spellbinding experience.
The Do Dham Yatra’s opening time mainly depends on weather conditions and varies each year. This pilgrimage provides a unique opportunity to seek blessings and experience the spiritual essence of these revered Himalayan temples.
In the evening, meet our representative at your Hotel/Airport/Railway Station, and after some basic information, begin your journey to Haridwar. Check into the hotel and proceed for darshan at Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Spend the night in Haridwar, enjoying dinner.
The day starts with a pickup from Haridwar and a scenic drive to Guptkashi via Devprayag & Rudraprayag. En route, you will see the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas and catch a glimpse of the famous Mandakini river originating from Kedarnath. The journey follows the river until we reach Guptkashi for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Brief Overview Of The Day
Plan involves breakfast in the morning, followed by a 30km drive to Gaurikund from Guptkashi, which takes approximately 2 hours. The trek begins from Gaurikund and spans 19km to reach the Kedarnath Temple. This trek usually takes around 10-12 hours. Once we finish the darshan at the temple, we will spend the night at a hotel in Kedarnath

Today, we will have breakfast and trek back to Gaurikund from Kedarnath. From Gaurikund, we will drive to Chopta, where you can relax for the day, as we'll be departing tomorrow. Enjoy your stay in Chopta.

Wake up in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast. Check out from the hotel/camp and depart for Tungnath temple via Chopta. The trek to Tungnath temple is around 5-6 km, taking approximately 2-3 hours. After reaching the temple and offering prayers, return to Chopta by 12:30 pm.
Next, depart for Joshimath, which is a 230 km ride and takes about 7 hours. Upon arrival in Joshimath, you can choose to rest or visit the temple. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel in Joshimath.

Early morning, we will visit Badrinath Temple, followed by breakfast at a hotel or restaurant. Afterward, we will explore Ganesh Guffa, Vyas Guffa, Mata Murti Temple at Badrinath, and Mana, the last village of India. In the afternoon, we'll begin the 290 km drive to Rishikesh, which will take approximately 8-9 hours to reach. Once in Rishikesh, you can explore the city in the evening, and stay there for the night and have dinner.

After breakfast, we will enjoy a 16km River Rafting adventure, including Cliff jumping while rafting. The day will be dedicated to self-exploring Rishikesh, and you can visit Trivendi Ghat for the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Please note that the return Volvo tickets to Delhi from Nepali Farm are not included in the package. Although it's a self-exploration day, our Tour Manager will be virtually available on call throughout the day to assist you.
